When the COVID19 outbreak occurred and the North West Regional Hospital was closed down for cleaning, this team pulled together. It was a tough time in NW Tasmania but the whole states health system, Australian Defence Force and the community banded together to flatten the curve.

Footscray Hospital has cared for some of the most critically unwell patients through this pandemic and has seen some of the highest numbers of Covid patients across Victoria and Australia. Kelly has been an instrumental leader of the speech pathology department at Footscray through this pandemic, and continuously leads by example to ensure all patients receive the care they need and deserve.
